Quality control

Years of experience, in-depth know-how and ultimate precision are required to constantly develop our unique range of coloured aggregates, and to strive for the colours and grain sizes of the moment.

At all levels of production, from the landing and unloading of the ship, through crushing, washing and micronisation, to loading and delivery, everything is done at EVM to achieve an absolute level of cleanliness every day. For example, each vehicle is carefully re-cleaned after every transport operation. Each container is checked to ensure impeccable quality and to avoid the slightest contamination.

It is thanks to this rigour, especially, that our products stand out from those of our competitors, particularly when it comes to sand and gravel packaged in sacks or big bags.

Our laboratories

Our laboratories are equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, both for our aggregates, which are continuously monitored at our Malmedy, Neuville and Hermalle-sous-Argenteau sites, and for our pre-cast pre-stressed concrete products at Hermalle-sous-Argenteau. This enables us to achieve effective and permanent self-monitoring, and also supports the technical development of our products.

The investments made in the purchase of an analyser such as a mass spectrometer for product chemistry and an air flow granulometer, allowing the measurement of fractions below 63µ, as well as the acquisition of a press for simple direct compression tests on concrete, ensure and confirm the company's commitment to quality.
