# Prebel

### Prebel® products in pre-stressed concrete

				
In 2017, anxious to pursue expansion at its Hermalle-sous-Argenteau site, the Victor-Meyer family approached its neighbour, Collinet, Grès et Béton. The project for a total takeover of this pre-stressed concrete business was launched, and the EVM Group quickly integrated this new concrete business under the **new name of PREBEL®**.

The beginning of 2018 is devoted to the rehabilitation and modernisation of the installations, and six months later, the first pre-stressed concrete elements are offered on the market.

Starting in 2020, the products have been marketed with CE and Benor certification.

In 2023, new production machines were installed to make the equipment even more efficient.

### Concrete, a fabulous material

				
**Quality** monitoring is carried out internally by qualified staff who are asked to quickly set up a quality assurance system that will, a few months later, lead to the receipt of two major certificates for business development:

- Since the beginning of 2020, our hollow core slabs have been **BENOR** certified. This label is currently an indispensable gateway to public building contracts, allowing Prebel to continue its development in Belgium.
